Fieldian is a post-processing program that parses and performs operations on signature files.

Fieldian will currently perform the following operations:

• add two field files term by term
• add two binary signature files term by term
• subtract two field files together term by term
• subtract two binary signature files term by term
• convert XPatch ASCII .field file to lucernhammer binary signature file
• convert lucernhammer binary signature file to XPatch ASCII .field file
• output information about a ASCII .field file or binary signature file
• process wide-band ASCII .field or binary signature files and create SAR imagery viewable by Sapphire
• scale XPatch ASCII .field file or lucernhammer binary signature file by a constant
• convert XPatch ASCII .field file or lucernhammer binary signature file to ASCII RCS file
• translate the phase center of XPatch ASCII .field file or lucernhammer binary signature file
• transform XPatch ASCII .field file or lucernhammer binary signature file from Xpatch coordinates (elevation/azimuth) to Spherical (Theta/Phi) or vice-versa
