Orion is a three-dimensional scattering center extraction tool that uses high-frequency scattering methods and the one-look SAR algorithm. Because scattering center databases are a concise way of representing the signature of an object, they can be used to characterize the object's RCS versus over many aspect and roll angles without the storage overhead.
